So, how would one go about securing their wireless internet? I dont want to have to sit on the phone with the help people, because seriously. They know me by name. It is all very sad.
It is a DSL-502 wireless router or something like that, if it helps (I'm saying that just from memory...I'm not sure if it actually is).
We are 11 days short of our plan resetting to broadband speeds. We have been on dial-up speeds for over a week. I'm pretty sure someone is scamming off our unsecured network.
ETA: like, TWO HOURS LATER, I managed to set up a WPA thingymabob, but then all of the computers refused to acknowledge the wireless router. AAAARGH. I somehow managed to muddle my way back to setting it on a default, unsecured network and so it works again, but SERIOUSLY. THIS IS TOO HARD. So I will have to come home tomorrow and call IINET AND BE ALL PATHETIC AND ALL, "Hello! It's me again!"
